ADVISORY BOARD
The Association of
Christian Counsellors in SA was formed in 1993, on the model of and
informally associating with the American Association of
Christian Counsellors, which has over 50 000 members.
They have a bi-annual
Christian Counselling World Conference, with an attendance the
previous time of over 7000.
Dr Carina le Roux, a
Psychiatrist in private practice is the chairperson since 2002.
An Advisory Board assists the chairperson in
leading the ACCinSA and includes:

we would be united in our goal to be Christ-centred, Biblically
based, and God honouring in everything we do!
DOCTRINE
We believe:

In one God, the Creator and Sustainer of
all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally co-existing in three persons
- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

That the Scriptures - both Old and New
Testament are the inspired and trustworthy Word of God, the complete revelation
of His will for the salvation of human beings, and the final authority for all
matters about which it speaks.

That the substitutionary death of Jesus
Christ and His bodily resurrection provide the only ground for justification,
forgiveness and salvation for all who believe, and only those who trust in Him
alone are born of the Holy Spirit, are true members of the Church, and will
spend eternity with Christ.

|
That the Holy Spirit is the agent of
regeneration and renewal for believers in Jesus Christ; that He makes the
presence of Jesus Christ real in believers; and that He comforts, guides,
convicts and enables believers to live in ways that honour God.
